Elizabeth says:

'One of the benefits of being a writer in southern Spain is the inspiration I draw from the spectacular surroundings of the Alpujarra Mountains, the tranquil lifestyle and the traditional laid-back Spanish way of life.   The downside of living in a remote area is the scarcity of opportunities to attend writing conferences, workshops, book fairs and all the things writers in more conventional environments take for granted.

With broadband I am able to appreciate the advantages of living in these peaceful surroundings while maintaining contact with other writers, working within on-line writing groups and keeping in touch with upcoming events of general interest in the publishing world.

Best of all, my website gives me the chance to showcase my writing to agents and publishers.'
